A rare and unusual solid oak gavel, block and display stand by the Yorkshire craftsman  Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger who’s family business, founded in 1957 by his father George, traded as Acorn Industries in Brandsby, near Easingwold. Circa 1970s.

Excellent condition and colour with his signature acorn carved prominently to the display stand.
