An excellent example of a rare to market  pair of solid oak Napkin Rings by ex mouseman craftsman Colin 'Beaverman Almack of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe, near Thirsk. Darker fumed from new they  present in excellent condition with a rich depth of colour, a signature Beaver carved in high relief to each.

Sourced from an excellent single owner collection of napkin rings we've recently purchased.

1988

A bespoke made 4'8" wide Glazed Oak Bookcase / Display Cabinet by  the former Mouseman craftsman Colin 'Beaverman' Almack. Of rectangular form with  two adjustable shelves and  two tempered glass sliding doors protecting the  bookcase section. Two panelled  twin door cupboards to the lower section with carved Yorkshire rose door knobs, standing on two sledge feet with a large  trademark beaver carved to the lower side panel. Supplied to original owners in Northallerton as detailed on the original receipt.

Structurally sound  it's been cleaned and re-waxed.

An excellent  four branch adzed oak Chandelier from the workshop of ex Mouseman craftsman Colin 'Beaverman' Almack. Features a hand carved tudor rose base and a brass ceiling boss. Brass earthed fittings, with electrical continuity checked on each bulb holder with a multimeter.

One of a matched pair, privately purchased together with the Beaverman chandeliers DS2287 / DS2289.

An excellent cleaned and wax polished solid oak Book Trough from the ex mouseman craftsman Colin Almack who established Beaver Furniture in 1960.  A signature beaver is carved in high relief to the right quadrant side.The business  has continuesd following Colin's death, now run by his son-in-law David Clegg.

Circa 1970s

 A rare to market solid oak circular occasional table, with a tilting adzed top, standing on acentral pedestal leg with four feet. Handcrafted by the ex mouseman craftsman Colin 'Beaverman' Almack of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe who set up Beaver Furniture in 1960.

Excellent condition, a trademark beaver carved prominantly to the top of one foot.
