Circa late 1990s

An excellent  oak and leather seated  Dressing Stool by the 'Yorkshire Critters' craftsman Phil Langstaff of Carthouse Furniture.  Of typical  design with  deep green leather seat, held in place with upholstery pins. Phil's cartwheel signature centrally placed on one  stretcher. 

Excellent condition , warm medium oak finish. The leather has been cleaned and conditioned and retains some slight colour scuffing from usage.

Carthouse  Furniture was founded in 1995 by Phil Langstaff, a relative of David 'Oakleafman' Langstaff. They moved to their current premises at Glebe Farm, Carleton Minniott near Thirsk in 2003 where they continue to produce handcrafted hardwood furniture, mostly in oak.

An excellent pair of oak Bedside Cabinets by the 'Yorkshire Critters' craftsman Phil 'Cartwheelman' Langstaff of Carthouse Furniture. Each features a planed top with rear upstand over 3 fielded panel drawers with wooden drawer knobs, standing on a plinth style base with Phil's cartwheel signature centrally placed on the base. 

Excellent condition , warm medium oak finish. Some surface finish wear visible on one top has now been recified in our workshop.

Circa late 1990s

A superb large bespoke sized oak Chest of Drawers by the 'Yorkshire Critters' craftsman Phil 'Cartwheelman' Langstaff of Carthouse Furniture. Features a  planed top with rear upstand over 2 short and 3 long graduated drawers with fielded panel drawer fronts and wooden knobs, standing on a plinth style base with Phil's cartwheel signature centrally placed. The drawers have been bespoke sized and each is much deeper than is usually seen on chests of this two over three drawer configuration and is much larger than Carthouse Furnitures standard version. Labelled internally with their original address.

Superb condition inside and out, medium oak finish.

An excellent oak Hall / Console Table by the 'Yorkshire Critters' craftsman Phil Langstaff of Carthouse Furniture. Features a planed top over two fielded panel drawers with wooden drawer knobs and panelled sides. Standing on four octagonally carved legs , joined with a lower storage shelf. Phil's cartwheel signature centrally placed on the front facing edge of the lower shelf. 

Excellent condition , warm medium oak finish. Some surface finish wear visible on the top has now been recified in our workshop.
