Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger Oak Console Table

Stock ref: DS2118

Circa 1960s

An excellent solid oak Console / Hall  Table from the Acorn Industries workshop of Alan 'Acornman' Grainger and his later family. Of rectangular form with two drawers with brass handles below the flat planed top, supported on carved and chamfered legs and a raised central stretcher. A signature carved acorn is prominent to the front right.

There is some expected light finish wear and ring staining to the top and typical grease and sweat marking around the brass handles. Structurally it is completely sound.  If you are happy to take the piece as it is photographed please contact us directly for pricing. It can be seen and inspected in our Preston Antique Centre showroom during normal opening hours.

16/9/19 update. Now fully cleaned, top stains removed and re-waxed. Awaiting new photographs.
