Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Glazed Oak Display Cabinet

Circa late 1970s

An excellent example of the popular solid oak glazed and leaded Display Cabinet from the workshops of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson. Freestanding on four octagonally carved block feet and of rectangular form with a rear upstand, adzed top and leaded glass to the front and sides with three tempered glass shelves internally. A trademark signature mouse is carved to middle of the front right corner. Complete with keys and working lock.

Photographed as acquired, prior to cleaning, refurbishing  and re-waxing which is included in the price quoted below. 

There is currently some very light spill staining to the top and general fading  to the waxed finish elsewhere on the oak framework which will clean out during refurbishment. The piece is structurally sound with no breakages to the tempered glass shelves or leaded glass windows.
