Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Large Early Oak Corner Cupboard, 1937

A superb early Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson large oak floor standing corner cupboard with penny moulded rear upstand and adzed top, twin adzed and panelled doors with traditional wrought iron fittings and early square headed screws. Panelled and adzed sides and rear. Internally with three fixed oak shelves and the base shelf for storage. Standing on octagonally carved feet, one carved with a trademark mouse in high relief.

Sympathetically cleaned, waxed and polished in our workshop it presents in beautiful condition with rich fumed and aged golden brown colour tones.

Provenance: Family owned from new, commissioned for Darras Hall, Ponteland, Newcastle in 1937.

Size: 106(w) x 68(d) x 151(h)cm. ( Please note 68cm is the minimum door width needed to get it into a room)
