Adzed top, including the rear upstand, adzed drawer fronts and all side panels and framework, in line with earlier manufacturing craftsmanship. Multi panelled rear. Good signature mouse with a well defined neck to the lower left canted edge. Rare 2 short over 4 long drawers, standing on octagonally carved feet. Earlier oak drawer ‘golfball’ knobs, subtly tooled.

Deep medium fumed from new and now naturally aged with warm golden brown tones. Very clean drawers for its age.

Presents in excellent condition and colour, sympathetically cleaned of the expected minor liquid staining on the top in our workshop, the whole piece re-waxed and polished.
