An excellent pair of vintage Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson solid oak bookends. Handcrafted and subtly adzed to all facing surfaces with very distinctive and quite rare to find carved scallop edging to all leading edges. This attractive scallop edging only seems to be found on a few craftsmen’s work from this era. Excellent mice carved in high relief.

Excellent overall condition with superb rich depth of colour and patina, just slight corner edge knocks and bruising from age and use which we have photographed.
