Circa early/mid 1980s

A superb 5’6″ oak Sideboard from Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger who’s business traded as Acorn Industries in Brandsby, up until the final family member retired in 2005.

Of typical  panelled rectangular form with 3 drawers to the top, one baize lined for cutlery, with shelved cupboard storage below. Extensively adzed to all visible surfaces in line with early Mouseman craftsmanship. The interior is beautifully clean having been protected with lining paper.

The sideboard presents in superb waxed condition with a medium oak colour, testament to loving and careful original local ownership, from whose family we have acquired it together with a number of other pieces that will be prepared and photographed  for sale over the next week or two.
