Circa early/mid 1980s
A superb 4 legged stool from the Acorn Industries workshop in Brandsby of Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger and his family. Of rectangular form, adzed all over with four square carved legs joined by stretchers and a drop-in pale green leather seat. A trademark acorn is carved prominenly to the front leg. The pale green leather matches that used on the dining set DS1731, having been made for the same original owners, and used originally with the bespoke wall shelf unit DS1733.
Cleaned and re-waxed the stool presents in excellent condition.
