Circa 1970s

An excellent bespoke made 4’6″ wide bookcase from the workshops of ex mouseman craftsman Colin Almack. Features adzed solid oak sides and top with two fixed shelves, the upper shelf commissioned to be angled 1 inch lower on the left side to allow a greater variety of book sizes to be stored on the shelves. The lower section allows books of 32cm, the middle  from 21.5cm to 24cm, the upper section 24cm to 26.5cm. The rear back  is oak veneered. Colin’s trademark beaver is incised to the lower front right.

Excellent condition with a rich colour, free from any staining.
