Colin ‘Beaverman’ Almack Oak Coffee Table

Stock ref: DS1089

Circa 1960’s

A stunning piece of early workmanship from the Beaver workshops (confirmed by David Clegg, owner and master craftsman at Beaver Furniture). Of irregular rectangular form with waisted sides, a single plank 4cm thick top, standing on 4 splayed octagonal
legs. The wedged leg joints are visible through the top and are tight with no shrinkage or movement. The table top has clearly been selected specifically for its superb grain figuring and extensive natural burring. The signature beaver is carved prominently
onto the front facing edge of the top. Darker fumed from new it now presents with the most glorious chestnut tones and deep patination.

Size each : 71 (w) x 38.5(d) x 40(h) cm
