Circa late 1980s

A bespoke made  solid oak Plant / Display Stand from the former Mouseman craftsman David Langstaff who established his own Oak Leaf Furniture business in Easingwold in 1986.  Of pedestal form with a large domed octagonal base bearing his trademark oakleaf carving, supporting a central carved pedestal  which is dowel jointed  to an octagonal top display shelf. Originally commissioned as a gift there is trace of a small presentation plaque to the lower section of the pedestal but it’s been removed and the small screw holes filled and blended into the wood. It presents in a lovely medium oak finish.
