Circa late 60s/70s

A superb example of a wall hung oak panelled corner cabinet from Derek Slater from his earlier independent period when he carved a fish signature  into his  work. Solid oak throughout with a 6 panel door with adzing to all visible framework and panels including the top. Two inner fixed shelves with wonderful condition inside and out with no staining or damage to the exterior and presented in a waxed finish with a rich honey colour. Dereks signature fish is carved in relief to the lower front section of the door.Complete with key  for the lock and original wall hanging fixings.

Previously sold by us in 2015, we were delighted to have the opportunity to buy it back recently.
