Don ‘Foxman’ Craven, 12″ Yorkshire Oak Table Lamp

Circa 1960s/ early 70s

A 12″ table lamp  from the original ‘Foxman’ Don Craven the ex Mouseman trained craftsman who was producing his solo work in the 60s and 70s before Malcolm Pipes took over the fox in 1981, albeit carved differently,  as his own signature. Of
octagonal tapered form on a square base with an exquisitely carved bushy tailed seated fox.  Superb condition, colour and patination with brand new wiring and a brass switchable bulb holder which have replaced the original plastic fitings which
had seen better days. Will be PAT safety tested before sale. From the same original ownership as the Don Craven pin dish (DS1202) and napkin ring (DS1204).

Size: 9.2(w) x 9.2(d) x 31(h) to base of bulb holder.
