Stock ref: DS1360

1987/88

A superb example of a 5′ glazed display dresser / sideboard from former mouseman craftsman Malcolm ‘Foxman’ Pipes. Fully panelled and adzed all over in line with pre- 1970s mouseman craftsmanship. The  two door glazed and leaded upper section  is
detachable from the lower dresser / sideboard to aid transport and features penny moulding along the top and two fixed delft shelves internally. Below is a thoughtfully designed dresser / sideboard featuring three upper drawers, one centre one baize
lined for cutlery above a shelved cupboard which opens widely to allow extremely good access. All comlimented with a mixture of wooden and wrought iron fittings. Malcolm’s trademark fox is incised  prominently to the upper glazed section. Superb
condition and colour.

This is just one piece from a large collection of Foxman pieces acquired privately from the estate of a lady who corresponded regularly with Malcolm and his mother up to the time of her recent death. All the pieces have been lovingly cherished  from
new and are in immaculate condition.

It represents excellent value, this exact design is not available from stock but  to buy new it would be between £6000 – £7000, a similar sized Mouseman piece is now in excess of £10,000.
