Stock ref: DS1541
Circa late 1940s/50s
An interesting and wonderfully well patinated example of a 12″ Breadboard from craftsman Martin ‘Lizardman’ Dutton who was working at Robert Thompson’s during WW2.
Well used on both sides with some wear on corner edges, his distinctive signature lizard is carved prominently in gigh relief to one edge of the board. Most unusually, the underside is also adzed and carved with triangular detailing to the outer edges.
Size: 30.5(w) x 25(d) x 2.5(h)cm
