An excellent Moorcroft Pottery 8 1/2″ vase, circa 1950s/60s, designed by Walter Moorcroft in green and blue glazes with tubelined hibiscus flower and leaf forms in contrasting red and yellow. Marked to the base in the expected manner, complete with original Royal Warrant paper label printed ‘By Appointment Potters to The late Queen Mary’. Queen Mary died in 1953 and the Warrant expired in 1978
Excellent overall condition with no known faults or signs of any professional repairs.
