Circa late 1990s

An excellent pair of oak Bedside Cabinets by the ‘Yorkshire Critters’ craftsman Phil ‘Cartwheelman’ Langstaff of Carthouse Furniture. Each features a planed top with rear upstand over 3 fielded panel drawers with wooden drawer knobs, standing on a plinth style base with Phil’s cartwheel signature centrally placed on the base. 

Excellent condition , warm medium oak finish. Some surface finish wear visible on one top has now been recified in our workshop.

Carthouse  Furniture was founded in 1995 by Phil Langstaff, a relative of David ‘Oakleafman’ Langstaff. They moved to their current premises at Glebe Farm, Carleton Minniott near Thirsk in 2003 where they continue to produce handcrafted hardwood furniture, mostly in oak.

Size: 43.5(w) x 36(d) x 65(h)cm each.
