Circa 1950s

A excellent  oak and tapestry inset Fire Screen from the the workshop of Yorkshire Critters craftsman Robert ‘Kingpost’ Ingham. He traded  from Burton Leonard near Harrogate until the late 1950s, before retiring and selling  most of the assets of the business, including the design rights and his remaining stock, to George and Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger when they founded Acorn Industries in 1957.

Oak framed with glazed front panel and oak panelled rear. Excellent colour and condition.
