Circa 1960s/70s

An excellent example of the four legged Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Cow Stool. The shaped and waisted slightly dished seat is supported on 4 splayed and tapered octagonally carved legs which are wedge jointed through the seat. A trademark mouse is carved in high profile to the centre front edge of the seat. Solid leg joints with no losses, the stool  has been cleaned and re-waxed in our workshop and presents in excellent condition with a deep rich medium colour.
