A superb example of an early 3′ wide single bed from the Kilburn workshops of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson, featuring burr oak inlaid panels to the adzed headboard and footboard, joined by adzed oak side rails which have been recently fitted with modern slats, as now used by Robert Thompson’s on their new beds. Dated 1934 to the centre of the headboard, a signature mouse carved to the upper side edge of the footboard.

Superb darker fumed rich colour and excellent condition, ready to use with a modern single bed mattress.

Easily assembled and disassembled for transport.
