Circa late1930s/early 40s

A superb example of the rare  to market early 18″  oak stool. Significantly larger in width, depth and height than the standard lattice woven stool it also features its original and wonderfully patinated full cow hide seat stretched over the top frame.  The  four leg stool presents in excellent solid condition, is extensively adzed all over, darker fumed from new and with a finely carved mouse running up one leg.
