Circa mid 70s

A wonderful pristine example of  the   fruitbowl  with the signature mouse carved centrally that was introduced in the early 1960s. Never used as a fruitbowl  it was in original condition on acquisition with no staining or damage but
very dry. A fresh application of wax has really enhanced the colour, graining and patination of the adzed and tooled wood.
