Circa 1960s

Made and sized by R. Thompson’s as a versatile portable  extension table for their range of dining tables but also used by many buyers as a console / hall side table. The table stands on two large octahonal legs, matching the dining tables, joined
by a stretcher at floor level, a  large well carved mouse featuring prominently in high relief on one leg.

Lovely condition and colour, all the joints are solid  with no damage or repair and presented in a lovely aged colour with minimal age related marking on the one piece top. (NB: Some of the photographs below show the top in part sun/shade making
it appear multi-planked.)
