Excellent example of an older made Mouseman standard lamp. The octagonal faceted base is carved from a single block of oak and features the trademark mouse carved in high relief on one side. This supports a tapering octagonal carved and adzed column through
which the 4 .5 metre long wiring passes to  the original brass bulb holder.

Presents in excellent condition with a rich aged colour and patina with no evidence of damage. Standard lamps this age and condition are now regularly selling at auction at up to £800
