Hand carved octagonal wall mounted clock with signature mouse in high relief to the top right hand edge. Correct German high quality ‘Hechinger’ quartz movement in a brass surround. Mounting bracket to the rear.

Lovely lightly fumed golden oak colour, waxed with no damage. The colour and graining commensurate with its age. Sourced from a private collection that was acquired over many years.

Beware the many fakes or ‘marriages’, often made using the small chopping board/teapot stand and cheap quartz movements from the Far East.
