A superb set of 8 early English Oak Panel Back Dining Chairs from the Kilburn workshops of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson.  The set includes 2 of the larger carvers / armchairs. The chair frames are adzed all over in line with early craftsmanship. The 6 standard dining chairs feature the earlier cow hide seats which are stretchd over the seat frames and the early stretcher design. The full set of chairs were refurbished and re-leathered at Robert Thompson’s in 2009, and they remain in excellent condition with a rich deep golden brown colour tone.

This set would cost £ 8,080 to purchase as a new set today, it therefore represents superb value at just :
