A superb example of the earlier made Robert Thompson ‘Mouseman’ oak small bookcase / bedside cabinet, circa 1950s / early 60s. Unlike more modern made examples  it is adzed to the sides as well as the top with a very finely carved mouse incised into the lower side panel. Two adjustable shelves with a full compliment of shelf supports.

Superb condition and lovely medium fumed and aged depth of colour.

Listed individually it is one of a pair that we have from the same original ownership. (See also DS2994). We will be happy to discuss a price for the pair.

Please note DS2993 and DS2994 are a matching pair but were photographed several months apart. One was photographed in the antique centre, the other outdoors at our home ) When together you can be assured that they present in the same matching waxed colour finish.
