Circa 1960s

A superb example of a sought after Mouseman burr oak  table lighter inset with a chrome Ronson Varaflame lighter. The  highly prized burr oak block is in superb condition, heavily adzed with the expected natural wood splits and burrs contributing to the character of the piece, with original baize lining to the base. Introduced to the UK in 1957 the Ronson Varaflame gas filled lighter fitted is a very rare to find brand new ‘old stock’ early A type valve piece,  received from the official Ronson distributors to the exact specification as the original  we sent them, which was mislaid whilst in their care. It’s in pristine brand new condition, fully tested and in working order when gassed.
