Stock ref: DS1399

Circa early/mid 1960s

A lovely example of a cheeseboard from the workshops of Robert Mouseman Thompson’s, made shortly aftrer they switched from carving the mice on the board to the handle, a move made primarily to strengthen the handle section which was prone to breakage.  Adzed cutting board, the whole piece with a wonderful depth of aged colour, minimal usage marks on the board. Locally sourced and from the same original ownership as the set of 6 Napkin Rings  – stock ref: DS1400.

Size: 37(l) x 18.5(w) x 4.3(h)
